Hosted by the Women's Transitional Living Center (WTLC) and the Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking (VietACT), the Human-Trafficking Awareness Event opened a sentiment unfamiliar and unrealized in the sheltered heart of California, Orange County. Slavery and human-trafficking is happening right in our backyards, as witnessed by the accounts of survivors who shared that night.
